Matotoland Kennel - Wildrose Dixie

Dixie is looking better every day we are at the point where we can start shooting birds over her. She is steady to flush & shot NOW we need to get her steady on drop.

She is a little barn burner with a retrieving drive of note, this will be interesting to see how long it will take to get her steady to drop.

Dixie will have great year hunting with us if she can control the burning desire to find & retrieve birds.

Dash has proved to be a contender we are looking fwd to the hunting season. It will be Dash's first season she is steady to wing & flush. Now we will be working on getting her steady on shot & drop.

Getting these dogs with drive steady is not a easy task.

Matotoland Wildrose There Goes My Last Dollar - Dollar - HPR Hunting dog

Dollar has come a long way since he arrived in the country 2 years ago.

He is hunting so well he doesn't stop amazing me with great finds! Today I stood on a hill watching him and it played out like a movie. He ranged 500m out worked every fence line, river bed and peace of grass that could hold a bird.

I wish I had put todays run on a video!
He gave me goose flesh with the speed he works with! He is just an amazing natural HPR Hunting dog.

Matotoland There Goes My Last Dollar - Dixie & Dollar

Both these dogs were imported from Texas  U.S they have been everything we wanted in a dog. These dogs will improve our bloodlines with the drive & nose they have.

Dixie was born  3 January 2012 she is proving herself by finding her own birds.
Dixie runs big and manage to hold the birds at 12 months of age, we will be expecting a lot from her this year.

She has a great drive I am sure we will work it out and get her to manage that burning fire and run.

Dash the younger dog was born 22/12/2011 from USA Wildrose German Shorthair

Dash under a year old shows good natural instinct, she points, backs & retrieves very well.She proves to have a great nose finding birds in company of our latest champ, (BB) Ft CH Temic of Matotoland.

We are getting very excited with these young dogs they will have their first hunting season 2013, they have proved to be contenders in any company trialing, and will work all day hunting for you.

They are very patient & loving with young kids and a pleasure around the house.(They have taken up gardening  but still can not make up their minds on were to plant what though)
